In 2011 Alina was requested to meet the Prime Minister of Belize's wife Kim Barrow. She was asked to meet her at the orphanage where she was adopted from in Belize. The First Lady was doing a documentary on children in Belize and wanted to feature Alina for the documentary.

It was a real pleasure for Alina to meet her and tell her about the first girls camp that was taking place that summer.
